Tri-College Curriculum and Program Transformation 2018

YOU are invited to participate in the 17th Annual Tri-College Faculty and Staff Summer Seminar in Curriculum and Program Transformation, June 11-15, 2018 hosted this year by Alfred University. Interested faculty and staff at Alfred University should contact Meghan Dwyer, Executive Assistant to the Provost, at 607 871-2137 or dwyer@alfred.edu to reserve a spot in this year's seminar. Reservations are accepted on a first come first serve basis.

As many as seven faculty and staff members from each participating institution - St. Bonaventure University, Alfred University, and Alfred State College - will come together across disciplines and professions to discuss curriculum and program transformation. This seminar gives participants an opportunity to meet and interact with faculty and staff from the other participating institutions to consider how privilege and power shape their disciplines, programs and pedagogy. The aim is to challenge ourselves to create more inclusive curricula, pedagogy and programming through a process of interactive dialogue.

The seminar takes place from June 11-15, from 9-5 each day. There is a $500 stipend for each participant who has not attended previously and who successfully completes the five-day seminar. All books, materials and lunches are included and free. Reservations are taken on a first come first serve basis and the limit is seven participants from each school. There will be a waiting list created in case a reservation is cancelled. Attached is a multi-page flyer with additional information about the seminar. Questions about the seminar can be addresses to me at ramico@sbu.edu or 607 382-7742.

Come join us for a stimulating week of dialogue!

Best regards,

Bob Amico
Professor of Philosophy
St. Bonaventure University
