Biography
Laura Crain is secretary of the Alfred University corporation, a position to which she was elected by the Alfred University Board of Trustees on May 15, 1998.

Previously, Crain was executive assistant to the President and office manager, July 1, 1997-May 15, 1998; administrative assistant to the President, 1988-1997; executive secretary, 1986-1988; and correspondence secretary, 1985-1986.

Prior to coming to Alfred University, Crain had worked at Xerox Corporation in Rochester.
