5:38 PM AU Today AU is 'Passionately Pink' to assist efforts for a breast cancer cure 10/07/08 On Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008 Alfred University students, faculty, and staff will participate in a breast cancer movement to help raise awareness and money for breast cancer research. All events are free and the public is encouraged to participate. 
Alfred University professor to deliver talk celebrating GLBT History Month10/07/08 – Dr. Vicki Eaklor, professor of history at Alfred University’s College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, will deliver a talk, “Outsiders/Insiders: Mainstreaming GLBT Rights,” Oct. 15 at the University of Connecticut as part of its “Out to Lunch” series to celebrate GLBT (gay/lesbian/bisexual/transsexual) History Month. Art & design dean's work to be displayed in NYC gallery 10/07/08 The artwork of Joseph S. Lewis III, dean of the School of Art & Design at Alfred University will be featured in “Joe Lewis P.I.E. Post Industrial Revolution,” which opens Thursday, Oct. 23, from 6-8 p.m., at Kathleen Cullen Fine Arts, 508 West 26th St. Suite 5A. The show runs through Nov. 29, 2008. Alfred University's College of Business ranks among the best 10/07/08 Alfred University’s College of Business ranks among the nation’s best for Master of Business Administration programs, according to The Princeton Review, which features the school in its just-published 2009 edition of its “Best 296 Business Schools.” The guide appears in bookstores on today (Oct. 7, 2008).
