Alumni, faculty art featured in Rochester-Finger Lakes exhibit

Art by three alumni – Amanda Oglesbee ’84 of Wellsville, Colleen McCall ’98 of Elmira, and Jonathan Merritt ’13 of Rochester – and Dale Inglett, associate professor of art, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, is featured in the 2013 Rochester-Finger Lakes Exhibition through Sept. 8, 2013 in the Grand Gallery at Memorial Art Gallery of the University of Rochester, 500 University Ave.

Every two years, Rochester’s longest-running juried exhibition showcases work by artists from Western and Central New York. Eighty-one artists, including 39 new to the show, are represented in the 2013 exhibit. They were selected from entries by 230 artists.

The gallery is open Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 11 a.m.-5 p.m.; Thursdays from 11 a.m.- 9 p.m. Closed Mondays, Tuesdays, and major holidays. For more information call 585.276.8900 or go to
