Chorus, Chamber singers to perform 'From Darkness to Light'
The Alfred University (AU) Chorus and Chamber Singers will perform in concert, “From Darkness to Light,” on Friday, Nov. 22 at 7:30 p.m. in the Alfred Seventh Day Baptist Church, 5 Church St.
The concert program will focus on the coming of the Winter Solstice. Featured composers include Rohn Rutter, Eric Whitacre, Morten Lauridsen, Z. Randall Stroope, Gustav Holst, and Dolly Parton.
The AU Chorus and Chamber Singers are directed by Professor of Voice and Chorus Dr. Luanne Crosby. The group will be accompanied by pianist Bo Pang. The AU Chorus is comprised of student and volunteer vocalists.
