Overview

Alfred University StudentThe Women's Leadership Center (WLC) builds on Alfred University's heritage as the first truly coeducational institution in the nation.

The WLC provides leadership education and skills development for Alfred's students, with an emphasis on developing leadership among our female students. We achieve this by creating collaborative learning opportunities, fostering mentoring, and networking with leadership role models, and offering a variety of leadership-enhancing experiences including speakers, workshops, seminars, internships and more.

Hours
Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.

The WLC is located on the South Campus at the corner of Ford and Sayles Streets, next to Openhym residence hall and across the road from Alumni Hall.

Institutional Organization and Staffing
The WLC is administratively organized under the Division of Student Affairs. Our staff members include one full time director and one full time support staff. Additional staffing includes student interns and graduate assistants as needed.
