Alfred University Professor of Psychology Danielle Gagne was elected president of the State Society on Aging of New York (SSANY), beginning January 2024. She hopes to steer the Society, as well as Alfred University, towards a deeper understanding of the challenges facing older adults.

The logo design contest for Hot Dog Day 2024 is now open for submissions. The winning design will adorn the Hot Dog Day t-shirts, posters, and other merchandise and paraphernalia celebrating next spring’s 52nd annual Hot Dog Day, scheduled for April 20, 2024.

Artwork by 10 undergraduate students in Alfred University’s School of Art and Design has been chosen for the Best of SUNY Art Exhibition, an annual display of art by State University of New York students across New York.
