PERFORMING ARTS OPEN HOUSE Monday, August 26 at 7pm in Miller Theater An information session open to all students about opportunities to participate in the Performing Arts and work study positions. 

Explore the vibrant world of performing arts. Whether you're a seasoned performer or simply curious, everyone including non-majors is welcome to participate—no experience required! Join our community, find your people, discover your sense of belonging, and nurture your creative interests. We offer a wide range of opportunities, including courses, ensembles, private lessons (vocal and instrumental), productions, shows, and workstudy positions. ADMISSIONS HIRING STUDENT AMBASSADORS Get paid to give tours to prospective students and share your love for AU! Our student ambassadors are a vital part of the Admissions team. Ambassadors help with tours, specialty events, desk coverage, and so much more. All majors are encouraged to apply. Hours are flexible and determined based upon your class schedule. The Archivist: Assist with organization and maintenance of the historical print and digital new media artworks, learn about best practices for archiving and logical retrieval, utilize the server and data entry,

Social Media Guru: Assist with our Instagram Plan, Maintain website plan/ design posts/ images/ information across platforms. Needed: basic Illustrator and Photoshop knowledge. Helpful: Some Wordpress knowledge.

Inamori Museum + Paul Vickers Gardner Glass Center Assistant (Work-Study Opportunity)
Inamori Museum + Paul Vickers Gardner Glass Center docent and security when spaces are open - regular hours, special events, and receptions. Assist in installing, deinstalling, and filing/archival work as needed. Apply via Handshake with a cover letter, resume, and job/work to assess availability for shifts.

Fosdick-Nelson Gallery Assistant (Work-Study Opportunity) Fosdick-Nelson Gallery docent and security when galleries are open - regular hours, special events, and receptions. Assist in install, deinstall, and lighting exhibitions as needed. Apply via Handshake with cover letter, resume, and job/work to assess availability for shifts.

NYSCC Galleries + Museum/MarComm Internship (Design and Photography) Interns working as NYSCC Galleries + Museum Interns will be part of the Galleries + Museum team and the Arts at Alfred Communications teams. They will help with arts promotion, design, and photographic documentation for the Galleries + Museum as part of the broader NYSCC MarComm team. The internship will involve spending an equal amount of time with both teams, providing a diverse student experience.

Interns interested in design will collaborate with the Galleries + Museum team to create interpretive materials for the exhibitions. Those interested in photography will be responsible for documenting the exhibitions.
