Tutoring

The Center for Academic Success provides tutoring support to Alfred University students in a wide variety of disciplines. We also have multiple options such as group tutoring, or individual peer tutoring based on your preference.

Group Tutoring

Group tutoring sessions are set up through the Center for Academic Success for some classes at the beginning of each semester, with additional sessions being added as interest and availability permit. Look for upcoming postings on campus, in the office, and on the "blue screen" in the campus center detailing the dates, times, and locations of group tutoring sessions.

Individual Peer Tutoring

Individual peer tutoring is available for many classes. Students interested in individual peer tutoring should contact the Tutoring Coordinator located in the office of Center for Academic Success. The Tutoring Coordinator will discuss students' concerns with them, review various campus resources, and attempt to arrange one-on-one tutoring, if appropriate.
